# Google Sheets Integration

> Sync your district data to a Google Sheet for reporting and analysis.

The Google Sheets integration lets you export your district's data to a Google Spreadsheet at any time. Data syncs across five tabs: People, Interviews, Courses, Boards, and Tracks.

## Connect your Google account

    Navigate to the Google Sheets section in your Settings.

    Click **Connect Google Account**. You'll be redirected to Google's authorization page.

    Sign in to the Google account you want to use and grant Credentials Portal permission to access Google Drive and Sheets.

    After authorizing, you'll be redirected back to Credentials Portal with your Google account connected.

## Create a spreadsheet

    After connecting, click **Create Sheet**. Credentials Portal will automatically create a new Google Spreadsheet in your Google Drive named after your district (e.g., "My District — Credentials Data").

## Sync data

Once a spreadsheet is selected, click **Sync Now** to push your current district data to Google Sheets.

The sync updates (or creates) five tabs in your spreadsheet:

| Tab            | Contents                                                            |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **People**     | All active people with their roles, tracks, tags, and custom fields |
| **Interviews** | All interview records with dates, forms, and responses              |
| **Courses**    | All configured courses                                              |
| **Boards**     | All boards and their members                                        |
| **Tracks**     | All tracks with required courses and criteria                       |

<Note>
  Sync is one-way: data flows from Credentials Portal to Google Sheets. Changes made in Google Sheets are not synced back.

## Disconnect Google

To revoke access, click **Disconnect** in the Google Sheets settings. This removes Credentials Portal's access to your Google account. Your existing spreadsheet and its data remain in Google Drive.

## Sync frequency

Syncing is manual — click **Sync Now** whenever you want to update the spreadsheet. There is no automatic/scheduled sync at this time.
