# Courses & Progress

> How to view your credentialing track progress and course completions.

## Understanding your track requirements

Each credentialing track has a set of requirements you must fulfill:

| Requirement type | What it means |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Courses** | Specific studies you must complete before your board interview |
| **Years of service** | Minimum years in ministry required for this track |
| **Extra criteria** | Additional requirements such as workshop attendance, a background check, or a ministerial prep program |

## Course completions

Each course in your track shows:

* **Completed** — A checkmark and the date your administrator marked it complete
* **Not completed** — An empty checkbox

Course completions are recorded by your district administrator. If you believe a course is incorrectly marked, contact your administrator.

<Note>
  You cannot mark your own courses as complete — only district administrators can do this.
</Note>

## Extra criteria

Extra criteria are non-course requirements specific to your track. Examples:

* Completing a ministerial preparation workshop
* Submitting a background check
* Fulfilling a probationary service period

Contact your district administrator if you have questions about what extra criteria are required or how to fulfill them.

## What happens when requirements are met?

Once all track requirements are fulfilled, your administrator can schedule your board interview. The board then reviews your record and makes their recommendation.

If you believe all your requirements are complete but haven't been scheduled for an interview, reach out to your district administrator.
